Sugar Hill Conservation Commission funds 43-acre land purchase via $40,000 ACT donation

NH SUGAR HILL — Sugar Hill Conservation Commission allocates $40,000 to support acquisition of 43 acres adjacent to Dyke Road. The commission unanimously approved a donation to the Ausbon Sargent Land Trust for the parcel currently owned by Split Rock. Commission Chairperson Larry Sawyer will contact Rosalind Page at ACT regarding the funds.

The commission also welcomed Hayley Droppert as its seventh member, with Margo Connors and Holly Hayward as alternates, and addressed maintenance issues at Coffin Pond.
