NH SUGAR HILL — Sugar Hill advances Coffin Pond land transfer to state hearing in September. Selectman Chris Ellms reported the matter will face the state's Long Range Planning and Capital Committee on September 14th, comprising four state senators, four representatives, and a gubernatorial appointee, with final approval coming from the Governor and Executive Council. The town received Highway Block Grant funding of $48,011.97 for the 2026-27 fiscal year, plus a one-time allocation of $6,028.49.

The Sugar Hill Conservation Commission is nearing its fundraising goal for Pinney Pond, with $10,000 in excess donations received and a request pending for an additional $50,000 from the Land Use Change Fund.
