NH SUGAR HILL — Select Board advances plans for forest land acquisition through capital campaign. Richard Bielefield, Chris Ellms, and Rusty Talbot unanimously approved prior meeting minutes while authorizing a capital campaign to purchase 28 acres adjacent to the Town Forest on Center District Road, with plans for a newsletter with QR code and resident mailings to solicit donations. The board also received Department of Environmental Services approvals for two septic operations and is pursuing Wetlands permitting for Coffin Pond.
Sugar Hill's Cooley-Jericho Town Forest representative Dan Kenerson reported that parking enhancements would exceed 300,000 dollars due to land conditions.
