Sugar Hill selectmen receive Route 199 project update; culvert work planned

NH SUGAR HILL — Sugar Hill selectmen receive Route 199 project update. The Select Board learned that work on Route 199 in Sugar Hill is now complete for current phases, with environmental monitoring continuing. The project will return in spring to replace a culvert on Streeter Pond Road.

Town Engineer Red McCarthy requested the board formally acknowledge Lafayette School students and teachers for their work on the Crane Hill Bridge Cultural Resource Project. The board also reviewed the warrant for the upcoming town meeting and discussed appointing a Deputy Town Moderator.
