NH SUGAR HILL — Sugar Hill Select Board approves residential permits, advances Coffin Pond project planning. Selectmen Richard Bielefield, Chris Ellms, and Rusty Talbot approved driveway and building permits as well as timber-cutting authorization. The board denied a zoning permit for an oversized accessory dwelling unit.
In more significant action, Selectman Ellms reported on coordination with Executive Councilor Karen Liott Hill regarding a potential transfer of Coffin Pond property from the state's Fish and Game Department in exchange for the town's replacement of the pond dam. The board anticipates a presentation from Fish and Game at an August 6 meeting and aims to establish a path forward by mid-September.
