Planning Board approves Warren two-lot subdivision

misc · Meeting of June 8, 2026

NH SUGAR HILL — Sugar Hill Planning Board approves Warren subdivision with fire protection easement. Chairman Rob Hayward and board members unanimously approved the final two-lot subdivision for Lynne and Michael Warren, conditioned on an easement allowing Fire Chief Allan Clark to use and maintain an existing pond for fire protection. Clark confirmed adequate fire protection is available and will provide easement documentation before plan filing.

An abutter, Annie Giuliano, questioned clear-cutting regulations; the board clarified no local regulations apply unless stumps are removed. The board also continued the Split Rock Partners four-lot subdivision to August pending attorney guidance and fire protection review.
